Hello! I'm Lily, an illustrator born and raised in a beach town outside of New York City. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts. I live and work in Brooklyn, NY with my tuxedo cat. When I'm not creating commissioned work, I like to make comics and zines, ride my bike, and travel. I founded Artists for the People, a charity project that donates all proceeds.
My work has been awarded by American Illustration, The Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, and Creative Quarterly. I've worked with a wide range of clients and subject matter, including conceptual editorial illustrations for The New York Times, a dystopian YA novel "The Defiant" published by McSweeney's, and gif animations for brands like Ray-Bans, Fox Searchlight Pictures, and Converse. I'm currently directing and animating a short film for NPR to debut in March 2018.
Drop me a line if you have any questions or would like to collaborate on a project!
